A commissioned piece by the ever so amazing WanderingPariah!
The picture was *heavily* influenced by Lee Moyer's "Nepenthe" (www.leemoyer.com / [link]). I got this picture as a reference and this homage should look very similar to "Nepenthe".
The word "Nepenthe" is Greek for the water of forgetfulness, associated with opium, chasing away sorrows. This picture features WanderingPariah's character Ariyah.

Wow. I can't stop looking at this one. XD I think the strength of your artwork lies not just in your amazing technical skills, but your ability to thoughtfully combine the best of human and animal features. Her face is soulful like a dog's and a human's at the same time.
