The last traditional piece I had in the EF artshow. Nothing fancy ... just two cheetahs enjoying the warm night and watching the stars. But it was my favorite piece and I enjoyed working on it so much. <3 Acrylics on bamboo paper.
It amazes me that you have created such a beautiful work as this. And as allways, your use of light and colors so beautiful. But it is the wonderfull cheetahs that capturted my imagination.I love the expression on their faces.
absolutely beautiful.... I swear, my heart fluttered when I saw it... the delicate colors, the well executed mood, the flawless anatomy, and the gorgeous lighting all comes together in a brilliant composition... I really love the background, and how well you used to cool colors to depict a night scene, while still keeping the warm fur tones of the cheetahs in tact. everything from the lighter shades in the higher concentrations of stars, to the little silhouetted trees in the distance.... It's not too complex, yet it's stunning nonetheless... especially those wonderful shades of blue melting into the sky... it's amazing~ and as for the cheetahs... goodness, they are so very lovely. the markings are fantastic; I have yet to see any out of place... and the lighting on their fur is just too great for words... every fragment of moonlight is easily visible on both their figures, and painted in such a way that it looks natural, rather than being distracting from the picture as a whole. but what really got me... was the expressions. rarely is there a time in which an artist can successfully create animal's expressions into ones that are both expressive and fitting to the animal itself... in this, the viewer can clearly see the wonder and magic sparked behind their eyes, and the slight curves of the mouth that show a kind of joy aside the wonder. or maybe I am just over-thinking the whole thing, but it really is a brilliant piece, and I am so happy to have seen it!
It really took me some time to answer your very lovely comment ... This is so sweet and I'm touched by your kind words. I really appreciate it, that you like this picture so much. This means a lot to me! I have no other words left than thank you so much! <3 <3 <3

Two cheetahs stared at the night sky with their dawn coloured eyes. A spark was in the air. But neither pointed it out as they spotted different animals in the sky. For a while there was pin-drop silence. Then one of the cheetahs spoke. "Sure is a pretty sky..." "Agreed, but..." replied the male cheetah with a purr. The lady took her eyes away from the sky and faced the male. Who was clearly lost in something. "But what?" She questioned. "They aren't as pretty as you." he curled his tail around one of her claws and purred. ========= not the best i've written but i though of this when i saw this.
